Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By creating a TappedIN account or installing the TappedIN widget on your store you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding contract between you (the merchant) and TappedIN.

2. The service

TappedIN provides an AI-powered search widget that merchants embed in their online stores. Shoppers use it to find products using natural language — moods, references, styles. We index your product catalogue and return ranked results. The service is provided "as is" and may change over time.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account per store. You may not share or resell access to TappedIN.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use TappedIN to:

• Sell counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract our models or ranking logic.
• Introduce malicious code or attempt to overload our infrastructure.
• Misrepresent your store's identity or products in a way that misleads shoppers.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

5. Payment and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If a payment fails we will attempt to collect for 7 days before suspending your account. Prices may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

6. Intellectual property

TappedIN and its underlying technology remain our intellectual property. Your product catalogue data remains yours. By connecting your store you grant us a limited licence to index and process your catalogue solely to provide the service to you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TappedIN's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or indirect damages.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these terms. On termination your data will be deleted within 90 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We will notify active merchants by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TappedIN is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
